"Like Every Insect" single
The digital single for "Like Every Insect" will be available
on May 27th through all major digital music retailers. It features
remixes by God Module, Rotersand, Babyland, Cindergarden, The
Synthetic Dream Foundation, and contains the non-album song
"Self-Immolation." Check out the trailer:
4/27/08 - art
show (May 1st - 15th)
Original artwork by Clint Carney will be on display and for
sale at Hyaena Gallery in Burbank, CA, from May 1st through May
15th. The opening reception is on Saturday, May 3rd, from 8pm to
midnight. Admission is free, so come by to see the art and also be
one of the first to hear the new system syn album, "End," which will
be playing at the gallery. There will also be system syn merchandise
for sale, including never before available prints of
the artwork from the album, "Premeditated." All of the information
is on the flyer below.

Clint's art that do not live in Southern California, it will also be
available online at

remix contest winner
Thank you so much to all of the remixers who entered the
contest for the "Like Every Insect" single. It was a tough decision
to make with all the submissions, but we are happy to announce that
the winner of the contest is The Synthetic Dream Foundation. Their
remix will appear on the upcoming single from Metropolis Records. A
complete track list for this single will be posted shortly. All of
the non winning entries will be available for free download from
this site after the single is released.

“Like Every Insect” remix contest
We are launching a remix contest today for our
upcoming single, “Like Every Insect.” Remixes will be judged by all
members of the band. The winning remix will be featured on the
single, alongside remixes from some of the Metropolis Records' top
artists. The winner will also receive a complimentary copy of the
upcoming full length system syn album, "End," when it becomes
available in June.
All non-winning remixes will be made available as free downloads
from systemsyn.com through the end of the year. Remixes will appear
alongside a credit and a link to your band's website, if you provide
one.
Winners will be announced on April 11th, and mp3s of the non-winning
remixes will appear on systemsyn.com one week after the official
single is released.
All entries must be submitted by 4/10/08 in order to be considered.
For those of you non-remixers out there, you can still check out a
clip from this track on our
myspace
profile.
3/27/2008 - New
album completed
We're happy to
announce that we’ve recently completed a new system syn album titled
"End." It will be released this June on Metropolis Records. There
will be a remix contest as well as a digital single featuring some
very talented and well known artists. More info will follow in the
next few days, as well as previews of the album. But for now, here

Back from tour
We've just arrived home from our tour with VNV
Nation. We want to send a big THANKS to all of the people who

Fake, system syn, and Imperative Reaction news!
As many of you know, Clint has a side project called Fake. For a
limited time only, we will be selling the debut Fake album, "Los
Angeles Synthetic" for the discounted price of $8.99 via the
systemsyn.com online store.
The 2nd Fake album, has been put on hold temporally, due to the
closing of Static Sky Records earlier this year, and will more than
likely not be completed until 2007.
We are pleased to announce that the new system syn album, "The
Mourning Ritual" has been completed and is awaiting mastering. It is
likely that this album will be released in November.
Clint will once again be on the road, playing keyboards and
providing back-up vocals for Imperative Reaction. IR will be the
direct support for Covenant on their "Skyshaper Tour," which will
also feature Rotersand. Here is the list of show dates thus far

The
'releases' section of this site has been updated with the cover art
and track list for the upcoming system syn album, "The Mourning
Ritual." The album is in the final stages of completion, and is
expected to be released this Fall, followed by an extensive North
American tour. More information will be posted as it becomes

there will be a new system syn album in 2006 entitled "The Mourning
Ritual." More information on this album will be available in the
upcoming weeks. We'll be taking a short break from performing live
while the album is being wrapped up, but rest assured that we will
be back out on the road to support it once it is released.

1/20/2006 – Tour wrap-up and what’s happening in 06
Postscript Tour
We wrapped up our Postscript tour last week, and wanted to take a
moment to thank everyone who came out to those shows! It’s our fans
that really make everything worthwhile. system syn loves you! Also,
we wanted to give a big thanks to the bands on this tour that we had
the honor of sharing the stage with: Provision, God Module, Ayria,
Cervello Eletronico, Shiny Toy Guns, Shaolin Punk, Sheraphim Shock
and Cryogen Second. Please check out their tunes and give them your
support!
Remix news
Fellow Los Angeles band, Inure, has just signed to the record label
Alpha Matrix, and will be releasing an EP entitled “Disillusion” on
3/3/06, featuring a system syn remix of the song “Shedding Skin.”

What are we doing now?
Clint’s back in the studio full time now, working on yet another
system syn album. When production finished for Postscript in
February of 05, he immediately began working on the next album. Due
to a hectic tour schedule with system syn and Imperative Reaction,
and the unfortunate need for sleep, there are only six songs
completed for this album at the moment. Clint expects to have
everything finished by Fall or Winter of this year. Clint is also
simultaneously working on a new album for his other studio project,
Fake, which is due out this summer or fall. More info on this album
will follow in the next few weeks. Jake and Atom continue to build
upon the debut CD for their own project, In Vein. There is no set
time frame for the completion of this yet, but a lot of progress is
being made and the tracks are sounding great. Our trusty producer,
Ted Phelps, is currently finishing up a new Imperative Reaction CD
which should be completed in the Spring. Keep your eye out for this
one!
